The archaeological evidence for Mesolithic sites in the South West suggests that hunter-gatherers not only had access to a wide range of resources, but to a variety of topographical locations. Hunting strategies may have been much more wide-ranging than previously thought, with several sites being linked within a Severn Basin annual territory.
