Bristol and Avon Archaeological Society

Visit to the UBSS Museum

On Wednesday September 3, 2014
Walk

The University of Bristol Spelaeological Society  has been involved in a number of active archaeological digs, mostly in caves, both on Mendip and in the Wye Valley. Some of these have yielded material of national and international significance. Sadly, much was lost when the Museum was bombed in 1940, but much still remains. This material continues to be studied and is also still added to from time to time.

We will be limited to a maximum of 15 attendees so, if you wish to come, please advise the Programme Secretary (email or telephone 01275 541512) as soon as possible.
