A short field walk supplementing April’s talk on Gatcombe Roman Town.
We will meet at 1:30 pm at Gatcombe Court, Gatcombe Lane, Flax Bourton, BS48 3QT. Free car parking will be available in the field located immediately south of the house. The afternoon will conclude with a cream tea at Gatcombe Court. As previously mentioned the tour of the Roman remains and tea will cost £15 per head – please ensure you have cash available as I’m not sure if any card payments can be accommodated.
