A guided tour of the site on the banks of the River Avon. It represents the most complete survivor of an original group of 18th Century mills engaged in the production of copper and brass. There has been a mill at Saltford since Domesday Book when corn or grist was produced. Later in the middle ages usage change fulling or tucking. In 1721 the Bristol Brass Company modified the site for brass battery production.
Details of where to meet will be posted as soon as possible.
