We had a relaxed and jolly Christmas party which was well attended by BAAS members and committee. The party had a different format to previous parties, as James was sadly still in hospital. The BAAS Committee provided the food and wine which was available throughout the evening and we held our usual book sale, which was very successful. Paula started the evening with a pub-style quiz, where members sat together in groups. Questions focused mainly on British archaeology and Rob Iles was the worthy winner. A film was then shown of rock art sites in France, which became a backdrop to the evening, which gave everyone a chance to browse the books, chat to friends and partake of the food and wine.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the evening a great success.
